Smith and Wollenskly was great! The restaurant is beautiful. We were a party of six and there was lots of room. No one walked into the back of my seat (yay!). The food was great and offered a lot of variety from a simple and delicious burgers to more precious (and I'm sure amazing) steaks. The sides were great - the best onion rings I've ever had. Booked on something of a whim because it was just across the road from the Adelphi Theatre; very glad we did; nice ambience, excellent waiter and chateaubriand to die for; not the cheapest steaks in London but I've yet to find a better one.
Lovely steak (on offer) but sides, deserts and drinks pretty steep. Nice dining rooms and not overcrowded.
We enjoyed everything- tenderloin, truffle mac&cheese, hamburger, and GREAT key lime pie! I was with my college aged children and the staff made us feel welcome- service was excellent. Wr have gone to many steak places in London as my son in school- this was the best and would recommend.
