An almost perfect experience. The only annoyance was another lone diner conducting a conversation on his mobile phone.
A little bit of 'old world' service and ambience. Excellent food and wine, obviously good for steaks. Prices are on the medium to high side but the food and place are worth it.
Amazing food and amazing service. Great waitress and attentive as was there for a special occasion. Great steak.
We booked for my partner's birthday, and the staff put a lot of effort into making it special for her. The waitress serving us was also very down to earth and approachable (which we like, we hate 'fake' service).
First time dining at Smith & Wollenskys having previously been to the likes of Goodman & Hawksmoor and was keen to see if it matched up well. The bar & restaurant has a really nice vibe and feels very authentic in its styling which is classy and vintage in appearance. The staff kindly fitted us in an hour before our table had been reserved and our waitress was friendly and informative.
