Had a lovely meal, service was really good. Ambience was excellent
During our stay in London and knowing the S&W in New York with my family we decide to have a special dinner at this outstanding steak house. Ambience is really nice, table with a mix of sofa and chairs and soft lights create a reserved environment. Food is the distinctive point of the restaurant. Taste of the meat is absolutely one of the top. Prices are quite high but in line with the level of the restaurant and the area where it is located.
Amazing food and fab venue. Have used this venue previously for a business lunch and they are never disappointed.
Really enjoyed it. My husband is a steak snob perhaps did not enjoy it as much but he would go back.It was my fault I did not let him give proper feedback about how the steak was cooked. Service was super. Highly recommend it for any occassion whether you just want somewhere nice or somewhere to celebrate.
Always love this place, the food really is top standard and I like how the menu is slightly different each time. I come here for business lunches and special occasions. The gin cocktails are fantastic however the bar staff are willing to serve up anything you wish for. It's hard for restaurants in London to maintain a consistent standard but S&W seem to know how to do it!

This restaurant is a must. From walking through the door, you are hosted by the most helpful and polite staff I have encountered for a long time. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is exquisite, from presentation to taste you cannot fault a thing. The menu caters for all tastes. The location, decor and atmosphere make a pre-theatre meal very special. We will be returning!
Lovely restaurant but more geared towards business dining I feel. The staff were superb. Cocktails were slightly over priced as quite watered down. Starters were the best, absolutely delicious. Myself and my husband opted for the Porterhouse which we felt was very over priced for what we got as it was quite fatty and slightly overdone to our taste. Sides were lovely. My children ordered the bone in rib eye and that looked a lot better than our Porterhouse. Overall a worthwhile visit but very pricey.
I went to treat my husband on his birthday. We drank negronis and sparkling water while nibbling bread and olives. Then, we had a chorizo and octopus starter, which was a little small but tasted lovely. Then after a long wait (to make our steak medium to well done), we enjoyed a delicious shared steak, the Chateau-something!! Wow it had a beautiful flavour and was lovely to share.
