Beautiful food and lovely atmosphere. A special place!
Steaks were excellent as expected. Whipped potatoes would also be a recommendation. Starters and desserts are overly flamboyant.
Nice spot, cross between formal and casual so relaxed but you could have a more formal evening here too. Great steaks but at forty quid entry level they really should be, service attentive and not fussy, and a nice ambience where you can have fun without it being too noisy.
We are big fans of good steak, and as we got married in the USA came to Smith & Wollensky for an American flavour on our anniversary. Food, service and atmosphere were all very good and the meat was excellent. The one disappointment was the relatively limited range of steaks available on the menu - certainly fewer than on a typical US steakhouse (including S&W on 4th Avenue in Manhattan, which is close to my firm's New York office) or other high-end steakhouses in London. Excellent Steak and good service in a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely recommend.
Excellent. for some reason they placed us downstairs where there were no other diners but at our request we were moved upstairs where the ambience was great. Really good but my goodness the cheapest steak was 39.00. No kids menu
Fantastic food and great service made for an enjoyable evening, will definitely visit again.
The staff here are excellent. They are very obliging and children are made welcome. Their friendliness is outstanding. The food is good, one of our party said it was the best burger he had ever had. We were there for already theatre meal before a pantomime. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
