We would have prefered to see more and have more light

Smith and Wollensky is a fine restaurant, which stresses attentive service and good manner of presentation. Staff are dressed in cream jackets with green trim and lapels. This gives a comfortable feel of refinement and confidence in their sophisticated ambience. I made this a date evening ( of which they were aware ), and staff were helpful, responsive and well motivated to satisfy. Great food, service and atmosphere. However as I posted before they would win a lot more fans if they included fries in the cost of ordering steaks. We had 3 steaks and a burger but had to pay an extra £30 just for fries which if you include service is actually £35.

Service was excellent and the blue cheese olives in my vodka martini inspirational steaks perfectly cooked and excellent wollensky’s prawn cocktail starter great presentation and very tasty. Only bug bear, was hash browns were a bit salty but my favorite side dish definitely a place for special occasion. Will be back later in year thanks again for a great night

My friends and I visited S&W and it was very nice, the steaks were perfectly cooked.
