I have been a patient of Solis for more than 15 years. Last June I had to have a 2nd mammogram. I requested they bill my insurance first but they said they couldn't do that and set me up on a payment plan assuring me that if insurance covered the procedure it wouldn't take long to get my refund. Surprise billing from Singleton despite that I want to a facility clearly named Solis. Singleton is not covered by UHC and Solis is. Watch out!
The location at Fort Worth 8th Avenue was fabulous. Employees working there were incredible. The billing system is horrific! They never even submitted to my insurance. I've tried to call three times and three times held for over an hour with no answer, just their hold music. Went online thinking I could do something there. No. No opportunity there either. I will now need to take off work and go back to location to have them fix this billing. I will never use Solis again, back to Texas health for me for future services.
They are doing illegal practices with their billing. The staff was fine but they made me pay for something that was covered by my insurance and now they claim they lost my information in a hacking situation and refuse to submit the claim to my insurance company because they said they lost it. I have emails with proof of my appointment and results and a receipt. They refuse to refund me and they literally lie and steal your money.
I was originally recommended to Solis by my gynecologist. I chose the alliance location for the convenience. The staff are for the most part nice. But the billing practices are shady. Here is why: this particular office location is associated with Singleton Associates (Radiology Partners). Google them with the word fraud and you will see that as of 2023 they are being sued by United Healthcare for pass-through billing schemes and for billing out of network when the patient thinks they are in network. First, the care I received from every single person there was perfect. Very short wait. Can not say enough good things about the staff. Now for part that makes me want to scream. I gave my insurance card at time of service. Got a bill saying WPA insurance declined service. Well that is not nor has it ever been my insurance. I got online and corrected the info. aside from repeatedly telling me I had cancer, they were rude, staff stayed on their cell phone, told me to check my insurance on what they would cover. when I responded on the survey they had so e women call me that went out of her to be rude. all of that aside, research how many unnecessary surgeries, chemo treatments, and radiation treatments are performed every year in the name of profit. I am a Registered Nurse with 10 years of ICU experience, and I cannot emphasize this enough - DO NOT GET YOUR MAMMOGRAM HERE. Their billing practices are very confusing and seem deceptive, in my opinion. My initial mammogram was flagged as being abnormal. I went to the facility for a mammogram back in April. I am fully insured and received a bill. I tried unsuccessfully to contest the bill and was then sent to collections. Finally after three hours on the phone with several calls to the facility itself I did not receive any help. I was given a phone number for Rosa imaging. Previously I was only given the number for MCA billing. Nobody could help me in the meantime collection agent for calling me over and over.There is no way to get any help from Solis.
