Scheduling is terrible! I've waited over an hour from actual appointment time for my actual mammogram, got here 15 min early as instructed and waited 1:30 before the actual mammogram. Finally got out of there 2 hours later! Ridiculous scheduling is so bad that they can't get this done in a timely fashion, I will never return to this location. I went in to the Hurst location Oct 2024 for a routine annual exam that ins covers 100%. Before even being seen they get your ID & ins at check-in. June 2025 I get a call from a collection agency for that routine visit that ins should have covered 100%. I NEVER RECEIVED A BILL OR CALL FROM SOLIS ABOUT INSURANCE ISSUES. Nothing. Nada. They expect you to bring past screenings on CD format instead of transferring them. Of course they don't tell you until you arrive and then cancel your appointment. Who carries around their medical records on CD? I drove from out of state and they refused to transfer or use the records I brought with me. They had to be on a CD which they neglected to tell me when I made the appointment.
Tia in billing is the absolute worst person to encounter. At a facility that is supposed to help and be supportive her attitude and demeanor are just rude! She should not be working with patients!!! go elsewhere!
The people were fine, amiable.. no problem with them BUT the service of the device! I think these services (ANYWHERE!!!!!) should be ILLEGAL!!!! my wife has been using Solis Mammogram for 2 years. this is first time at this location, the person at this loca really have attitudes problem while I checked in for my wife, yes my wife!! I gave 2 stars because she did not update our address but all other online information I provided were updated! Why would she selectively not update some important info! Or lazy! this office showed unpleasant and unfriendly!!
This review is for the Solis Mammography located in downtown Fort Worth on 1250 8th Avenue. Every time I went to follow up on a "suspicious" area, I was not only physically hurt, but the day of my first Cancer surgery, I literally passed out due to their inability to get the images they needed! They blanket bill you a co-pay of $195.00 for all and any services. My insurance paid all but $15.00 of the bill for my pre-surgery images. Therefore I had a credit balance of $180.00. OMG! Was offered to have a Mammo-Heart evaluation. I would have to pay out of pocket. No problem, I elected to have this evaluation done therefore paid cost. PROBLEM I am trying to obtain a receipt with "procedure code" to use my flexspending account. Called Solis billing, was told they do not support this. I asked for a number or email address to Mammo-Heart. Told they could not provide it to me. DO NOT get this added evaluation if you need a receipt with procedure codes from SOLIS.
I hope this saves someone's life. I'm not sure what options are out there to get screened but find another place. I went in for my normal screening but have cysts always have said I felt one. They would not do screening said I had to do an ultrasound. Great let's do it. Nope! They said I have to get a referral they would handle which they did not.
