Hour and half wait just to get a scan. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Rotating staff out for "lunch" while we've been waiting over an hour is UNACCEPTABLE. You scheduled these appts. STAFF APPROPRIATELY!!!
I'm not sure what is going on. I have used Solis for years and all of a sudden they can't get it together with insurance billing. So I received a bill from Solis for $723 that said my insurance company denied the claim. I called my insurance company and they had no record of any claim from Solis. Next I called Solis and they had me repeat my insurance information twice then asked me for the billing address to my insurance company which since I don't bill my insurance company, I don't have. I had to return after my initial mammogram due to a technical issue. A part of the x-ray was blurry. They said I must have slightly moved so I had to have my left breast redone. Mind you, the technician that did my first appointment had me sit and wait while she checked the x-rays. She said they were fine. I go for my second time and get another technician who proceeds to torture me. She was intent on getting the entire side area of the breast which is tender. I then have to wait for the results. I was the subject of terrible gossip in the waiting room as the receptionist and employees gave me a big smile.......I honestly thought the gossip was about someone else, until I received sarcastic remarks from patients ...... I have used Solis in Las Colinas, Texas, for my screenings for several years. I got a few calls from them reminding me it was time for my annual appointment before I get around to making it happen. I arrive for my appointment and am told they no longer accept my insurance. So, naturally, I am concerned. You guys called me...how is it that you don't accept my insurance anymore? I won't be returning again. Second bad experience in three months. Due to concerns, I scheduled an appt for a screening mammo. Clerk would not allow me to be seen without a dr's order. Per Solis, an order isn't needed for a screening mammo. Nonetheless, my doctor's office promptly faxed over the order and I was able to be seen almost an hour later. Clean facility and nice people. Took weeks to get my results and after waiting had to go back in and pay up front for a 3D although it could be verified easily that it is covered in full. Now after being paid electronically over two weeks ago they deny they have been paid by insurance company. Was told someone would call me and they didn't,.
