Very nice venue the front house staff were very helpful and the owner was in the bar and very nice guy to speak to and introduced himself. My wife good was amazing she absolutely loved the steak giving it a 10/10 my fish and chips first time round the first wa slightly hard so I sent it back then it came back very nice Would revisit

The service was super great until the time I asked to have the service charged removed, having spent over £100 for a lunch meal for me and my date the previous day we returned for brunch and asked for this to reduce to 50% as I always tip but the guy didn’t like it and from there the service because rubbish. I like people who are genuinely nice not only because they want a tip

Front of house immediately put us on the back foot by showing us to table that was tilted on an angle, cramped by a wall, even though there was a nice table free close to the square. Service was good but the rib eye & additional cost for a sauce were over priced for what I received at £36. I asked for medium rare and received medium. My wife’s meal was however a direct opposite to mine, the great value (£14.50) fish cake with roasted vegetables were excellent by all accounts. Such a great way to start our vacation in Bath. Great location to sit outside and enjoy the square and all the music going on. Great drinks, salads and the onion risotto! Would love to go back
