Great food as always. Its a bit expensive but it's quality food with great views of the Abbey.

The amount paid for the booking through the app was not considered in the bill at the end so I paid 40£ extra . My mistake not checking there but you assume that is carefully considered from the service personnel
This is a nice looking restaurant well located in the centre of Bath near the Abbey. We met for Sunday lunch and they easily accommodated 8 of us (6 adults and 2 kids). Service was ok. We ordered the Sunday roast, the beef was delicious but the meals were not hot The beef was really nice, the rest of the meal tasted recooked and the food wasn’t hot. We each had a couple of drinks and the bill worked out at £42 a head which I don’t feel is particularly good value considering the quality of the food.

Booked a table for two for lunch having been recommended this restaurant by a friend. Had high hopes when entering but soon were seated at a table that was in a corridor with waiting staff CONSTANTLY walking by. Not to mention being seated directly opposite the back kitchen with dirty dishes consistently being bought past. Reasonable good food however expensive for what you get. Our main was the beef rib and was a small potion. £4.50 for water!

The best thing about this place is the view of Bath Abbey from the outdoor seating and the people playing music in the street. We ordered the Sunday roast specifically medium rare. Ours came out well over Medium. The potatoes and vegetables served with the dish had little to no flavor. The potatoes were so bone dry. DO NOT recommend the Sunday roast from here. We chose to dine in the "piano bar" area. The pianist and general sound was dreadful. The food was quite good.
Service was great and staff friendly. Our food came out in good time but lukewarm and meat was dry. It was beautiful plated but flavour wasn’t there for me. We were looking forward to the pianist but we found ourselves leaving for drinks elsewhere. I personally wouldn’t go again. Shame as it was the first meal myself and my partner have had out in a long time.
When we got sat down there was some confusion as to where the table was. It took quite a while for someone to see us while other tables that got sat after us had been seen had had drinks before anyone came to see us for drinks.
