I received professional and friendly service from everyone I met there. I rented a uhaul trailer from them that was in great condition. The check-in and check-out was super easy. I never want to movr again! But if I do, I'm going back to Stax!

DO NOT USE STAXUP! It's all INFESTED by fleas, roaches, spiders, termites, moths and even bed bugs! I've seen all of these but most of all were fleas! It's hard to believe but it's very true. The storage has two side walls that do not reach the top so it allows bugs to fly from one storage unit to another! And their insurance is such a ruse they do not hold any responsibility AT ALL to any damages!! I will tell you what happened to me in TJ and how Stax Up treated me and provide pictures. The two ladies (Cathy helped me out) at the front desk are wey professional and they have incredible customer service. The website is so easy to use and it made the contactless set up fast and easy! When I showed up They already had my lock and space ready to go! PRO: - cheap - easy website and payments - great customer service - convenient locations - easy drive up and elevator CON: - not the prettiest - Room sizes are a bit short in height - wood rooms; hotter than your sauna and could be exposed to humidity

After having my belongings in a unit at this facility for an extended length of time I was able to move out and begin unpacking. To my surprise many of my professionally packed and moved items were chewed up by rats! The belongings were chewed up inside the boxes as well as out. The wrapping paper was shredded and important documents destroyed. When boxes were picked up the bottoms fell out due to rodent activity. There were giant roaches and rodent droppings everywhere. I found StaxUP online and reserved a spot. When I got there with my trailer, the folks in the office told me that I had reserved my spot through a third party, not directly with them, and that they had no places available. Turns out StaxUP has an agreement with the third party, but sometimes what corporate (i.e., executives) sets up doesn't always filter down to the folks at the front desk. UPDATED IN RESPONSE TO THE FACILITIES' DISMISSAL OF MY REVIEW. Of course the facility will claim no responsibility for rodents, even though I have seen other reviews mention rodent activity there! (Both on Google and both within the last year. See attached pictures!) However I did mention the fact that there were live mice (still crawling on my belongings) in the boxes that I'd left on the property when I moved out. Can you say cross border smuggling? Lots of shady activities are run out of this place!! They facilitate these illegal activities!! The place itself is very rundown. Barely swept clean if that at all. All the doors are broken open. Lots of burglaries!! The walls are only drywall, so its quite easy to break into any unit. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE I will NEVER, NEVER,NEVER, EVER do business with STAXUP STORAGE again. After they acknowledged that I had given notice taking effect February 28, they still refused to REFUND the autopay they took for March claiming they could not find the deducted amount in their system, therefore they could not refund it. Who collects money from customers and then has no record of having collected that money.
