The residents were very upbeat. They didn't look like they were waiting to transition like the other places. Also, the environment was clean and had no foul smells. Also liked the way the staff referred to Stonefield as the residents home and that the staff works for the residents and not vise a versa.

The facility is warm and inviting; the staff are happy, out and about, and easily approachable; and the residents are all happy and welcoming. You do not find happy and welcoming residents unless they, themselves, feel happy, cherished, and secure. Our family had an in person tour and we loved Stonefield, we were really torn between this community and another. It was fancier updated, roughly the same distance from our place but ultimately the other community just had a little more activities to be offered which sold us
To no fault of their own, they did struggle with staffing during our loved ones stay due to the covid pandemic. However, the Stonefield community is very welcoming.
The staff members and care services have been really great so far, and our loved one really seems to enjoy the meals and dining services - no complaints as of yet. She is always participating in the activities they have to offer.
Our tour experience null
We chose Stonefield because she wanted a 2 bedroom apartment and they had a nice set up here. They have been keeping us up to date by email and they did have newsletters for the residents. Given the circumstances, her main complaint about the food is that it was cold when it was delivered and they were not able to have activities due to Covid protocols. I am sure as things ease up there will be more opportunities. I would recommend them to others looking.
The community is very clean and the staff members are very friendly.
We did have issues with them administering the wrong medications and things like that so that became an issue. When they were here, it was during the pandemic the activities director really did try to keep residents busy and did the best that she could. They did say that the food was good. I felt like the manager went out of her way to help us get things going and make things work.
