This place never fails to exceed to my expectations! I dealt with them a lot this past spring- I had some faulty parts with my car (Acura RDX) involving A/C and my turbo engine as she was nearing her 100,000 mile mark. I already paid Allied Gardens to do my power steering pump and my clutch when they finished the power steering pump was still leaking and the clutch was making a loud pitch noise. When I took it back there was always some excuse, they told me it was a different part then when the part was changed the power steering pump was still leaking, they didn't want fix clutch I already paid them to do, unless I paid them again. It is not necessary to go into accurate detail rebutting your skewered rendition of events, I do however hope that you find another shop that can adhere to your consistent, unreasonable demands. These guys are great! Very genuine, hardworking and honest mechanics. They are quick and great at what they do. As long as I stay in San Diego I will bring all my cars over to Matt and Ryan!
These guys fixed my thermostat on my escape and did a great job, even gave me a ride home and then picked me up. Reasonable price, couldn't have asked for much more.
Been going here on and off for a couple years now, and I have high regards for the crew and ownership here. They genuinely seem to care about their customers, are easy to talk to, and speak plainly. These guys were great. After hearing what happened they totally rectified the situation and threw in an oil change with it. Great group of mechanics who are not trying to screw anyone. I appreciate the help they gave and will be going back to them for more work.
Is this why you called twice to reconcile my bad experience? I am glad I did not answer. It is important for others to know that I was mistreated. Ryan told me that I would have to pay $42 for the failed smog test and that I would have to pay another $42 to be re-tested if I did not get my car serviced there. Another thing, I got two more opinions on my vehicle and need no repairs. I passed smog with flying colors. It is upsetting that your shop tried to take advantage of my business.

Wow...... this is absolutely not what happened. You came in to have a smog inspection and unfortunately your car failed due to a cracked/exhaust leak at your exhaust manifold. We also told you that by law, you can choose any repair facility to do the repairs, including your mechanic that you said you normally go to. Highly recommend this place. Matt and Ryan are always straight with me about what I need done and how long I can put it off, patient to explain anything I don't understand, and super accommodating to my needs. I started taking my '98 Tacoma here for routine work and have had 2 emergency fixes, once for the engine misfiring and another for what turned out to be a cracked radiator.
