RecommendedOur dog Rudy was hit by a car, the first place we took him for emergency care wasn’t the best , they were good just not the best. They advised we just put our 9month old boy down. Summit was different! The doctors are all so sweet and you can tell they LOVE and have a passion for what they do. They all treated Rudy with love and we felt great about leaving him there! We get updates on how our boy is doing, and they know what they are doing! Thankful for the skilled team at summit ♥️
4 years again today our little girl was able to come home after 2 weeks in ICU. She was attacked by the neighbors dogs and lost a kidney and a lot of blood. Her heart stopped a couple of times and they had to revive her, I can honestly say if it wasn’t for summit she would not be here today. I’m so happy she made it through with the help of these amazing vets and vet techs. You can tell these people do this job out of love for animals. Thank you for giving us our girl back! Mimur is thankful for all of you as well!

Our Harley got very sick very quickly and we took her to Summit around 11:00pm. They had her checked right away and started running test. The staff was so caring and patient with us. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs emergency care.
Doctor Murray, who saved Charlies leg with new surgery. We did a chance visit to Summit surgery center in Tacoma just to let her see Charlie and say hi on Wednesday. When we talked to her we found out that this next week she is giving a seminar about how you do not have to cut off the whole leg because of new techniques and Charlie was going to be one of her main examples. Had a great experience with the doctors and staff at Summit. Had to take my dog in to the neurology service and was so pleased with Dr. Finnerty. Excellent quality MRI and bonus, they even trimmed my dog’s nails while under anesthesia without having to ask for it. Would certainly recommend.
Our dog Cosmo was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma. After amputation surgery, we were referred to Summit Veterinary Referral Center for an oncology consultation. We met with Dr. Vanessa Risso and were very impressed by her professionalism, compassion, and thoroughness. All the staff has treated Cosmo with care and gentleness. I highly recommend Summit for oncology.
Our dog Bingo became paralyzed from the mid back down. He was referred to Summit. Upon arriving I was so emotional I could not even speak. They took my referral papers and had someone out with me right away. First to Bring Bingo back and get him ready for exam and then back to have me fill out papers and then explain the process.
