The staff here are so caring and understanding. We took our terminally ill dog there for to be euthanized because our vet couldn't see her; she had never been seen there before but that didn't matter. They treated us with compassion. They explained everything to us and they didn't try to make us feel bad about our decision. The facility was so warm and comfortable, they have rooms that are just for saying good bye to your fur babies. This place made us feel a little better about our decision to finally say good bye. From start to finish I was very impressed with everyone at Summit! I brought my pug here when my vet was out of town due to an eye concern. I had called first to see if I could get him seen for an appointment with the eye specialist, but unfortunately they didn't have anything available. However, the receptionist told me to come in on the ER side and the eye doc would be called over to see my pug to evaluate. They were very courteous on the phone and in person upon arrival. There was a bit of a wait (natural, emergencies happen) and they apologized for the abnormal wait. I felt they did not owe me an apology but the gesture was appreciated. I’m happy they took care of my pup and was thorough with me during the process. They were sweet and answered all my questions on the after care instructions. Reasonable pricing too.

Dr Heiser was so amazing! He truly cared for my girl. He went over and beyond his call of duty! An amazing place with amazing staff. On your pets worst day, you can count on the people at Summit to do what’s right, and treat your pet with outstanding care!
The care and compassion they show this to our Annabel’s Cancer was amazing. Our surgeon Dr. Brian Hiser Didn’t amazing job with her amputation in with her care. He kept us up-to-date on every step that they took.He went as far as to stay four hours past his shift Just so he could talk to is the day that she get to come home. After our last experience with her that this was a welcome change. I have a recommend Summit to everyone
Summit was there when my 9yo Great Dane rescue needed an emergency spay surgery. Staff guided me through the intake and prep and Dr. Heiser was frank and kind in his assessment. Hailey's care during recovery and the phone follow-ups were excellent, and she is home thriving 2-weeks post surgery. The only problem is reminding her that she needs to wait another week before she can kick up her paws. Thanks again!
