I am satisfied with Sunlight Financials' services. However, my soalr system was approved for service at the end of April. Do not assume that you start saving money on your utilities immediately. I emailed the solar company at the end of May after getting my highest electric bill ever!! At that time, they finally sent me a link from YouTube which gave me the steps and instructions to turn on my own system and activate my solar panels. WOLRST company to wok with EVER. RUN from them. They lie to you and do not get things done so it will screw with you. Terrible cimpany.
Let me start by saying that getting the loan for my solar panels through Sunlight was very easy and at a great interest rate. However, when I needed a subordination agreement to refinance a HELOC on my home from Sunlight the problems started and have never ended. There were two liens on my property from different lenders on the same loan. This company has Given me the run around on my subordination documents needed to refinance my house. I was first told it would take 15 days, well 45 days later and still nothing but the same run around story. They can't even reach out to the department by phone call to figure out where my subordination is at. Truly Do not use this company finance your solar system. Keep in mind when you want to refinance your home, you'll need to ask for this document 10 years ahead of time.
Hello we are very disappointed with getting solar with this company, we been paying the loan since June 2023, and our solar panels are still NOT ON to this date i feel the sales person took advantage of my dad he is a senior and nothing that it was promise to him is done. His been paying the loan for 9 months plus electricity Worst decision ever getting solar, put more of a financial burden to my Father, we want them remove and get a refund for having them sitting in his ruff doing nothing for 9 months
I will never deal with this company or any affiliate again. They were in bed with a scam solar power company (pink energy). Pink Energy has filed bankruptcy and I am stuck with a solar panel system that doesn't and hasn't performed the way I was told it would from day 1. Everyone's response is to call the other company. At this point I want it off of my house. Stay away from Sunlight they just take your money and don't follow through with even simple objectives.
I do not recommend Sunlight Financial. They will try to hold you hostage in a loan like a loan shark. You won't be able to consolidate other debts and you're at their mercy if they want to approve someone (who is qualified) to assume your loan if you try to sell your house. Find a more upstanding institution to do business with. They're customer service representatives are extremely unprofessional as well and will treat you like garbage.
Please stay away from them... totally unprofessional, unreasonable and their customer service is the worst. Even 1 star is too generous here.
I contacted sunlight via text 3 times (for some reason they don't take direct calls) and received a generic message that someone would contact me....a week later still no response! I am a new customer and have questions regarding my contract but clearly customer service is not a priority; I would never recommend this company to anyone!
