Birthday breakfast for my sister. She loved it!!! It was her first time and they did not disappoint. Wonderful experience.
I first ate at Ted's Bulletin on 8th SE when it first opened. I have not been to this site for years. I have eaten at Ted's Bulleting on 14th St NW numerous times over the years. The 8th Street location does not compare favorably to the 14th St location. It was dark. Loud. It appeared as if it had not been painted/stained/updated in years. The bathroom was not clean. The back area by the bathrooms was less than appealing.
Ted's always delivers great food and it's a beautiful place to meet with friends. The noise level's a bit much for our getting-elderly ears, though. It would be nice if it was a bit quieter so we could hear each other talk.
Very good food, attentive staff - would definitely eat here again.
I went to lunch with two friends who have some mobility issues and some food issues. The restaurant graciously seated us in a window table near the entrance and was patient and accommodating with all requests. The menu is capacious and while my companions were quite satisfied with their choices (chicken piccata and a Greek salad with shrimp) I was underwhelmed by the breakfast burrito with pieces of tough, tasteless flank steak in it though it was a satisfying eat.
