On vacation, I took my family to the Capital Hill location after having had a wonderful experience at another location (can’t recall) on a work trip. It was kind of a bummer. Drinks took forever, and came out after our very burnt baked pretzel appetizer. The drinks were meh in taste and presentation. The food was all just fine. The service was slow and hard to find which I totally have sympathy for but just a bummer for the effort to get there and cost!
Food was delicious. I would definitely come back. I need to try different items in the menu. The Salmon Toast was fresh and tasty.
The food was not made well and was rather disappointing.
Great food
A good spot if you’re looking for options on 8th Street in SE. The service was great. The food was average, but we only ordered 3 items within the dinner section of the menu. The down side was every time I ordered a beer flavor they were out of it. I eventually told the waiter to bring me anything. I thought the cost was reasonable for DC.
Anniversary-Celebrating 30 dates for 30 Years
The timing of the dishes being delivered were off. Was still finishing apps when Side Salad was delivered and immediately followed by mains. By time we got to the entrees the fries with the Steak Frites were already cold. Seemed like the server was rushing things a bit.

Best Chicken Fried Chicken in the District. Great home made pies as well.
