Food was great. We had a reservation for 2:00pm (group of 6) and didn't get seated until after 3:00, and had to split up then to get a table. All the reviews said to be sure and make a reservation, so we did. It didn't seem to help.

Stopped in for Brunch on Easter. Wait staff was wonderful (Nicole!) and the food was really good. We were there for a 8:00 reservation. Glad we booked ahead, lots of people waiting after 8:30. The strawberry lemonade pop tart was great. We will definitely be going back, and will recommend it to others.

While everything I've had here is good, I'm consistently drawn to the perfectly cooked and seasoned turkey burger. I also love the brussels sprouts side dish - although this last time it was way to salty. And who can resist a strawberry pop tart to finish the meal?

Great service, wonderful aroma of homemade pop tarts, coffee is free, creative menu which is like reading a newspaper...the ambience is incredible. Old Time theme lives up to the name.It is casual which is rare for DC and that is a nice change of pace...family oriented, love this must see place on the hill!

Simple, home-made food; excellent quality; excellent service. The only complaint is that I made a pig of myself.

We were here for breakfast at 7:45 on a Saturday morning. There were plenty of available tables, but by 8:30, the entire place was full. Ted's ended up being way smaller than I imagined! Maybe 20 tables in a single room. Great ambiance with the "old timey" music and silent film showing on the only TV in the dining room. Somewhat of a limited breakfast menu, but what they do, they do well. When we got there, it was nice and quiet; as we were leaving, my wife commented that she could barely hear me due to the crowd noise. This... read more
