Loved the 1920s-30s atmosphere and the cocktails were top-notch, but were expensive. The steak was very good, but the pop-tarts were terrible!

Wonderful dinner for our family! The food was delicious and the service was very good too. We LOVE the old movies playing and Casablanca was playing! Everything is homemade and you can tell that a lot of planning goes into the menu. We call it an "upscale" diner, but it's really more than that. It's a homey, feel-good place with great food and ambiance.

Love this place and would go more often if the wait wasn't so long. BUT, it's not to say it's not worth the wait! Delicious comfort food and always consistent. Perfect amount of tasty options in all categories - breakfast, salad, sammy, entree. The shakes, adult or not, are absolutely amazing.

The food was all very good. The service was so slow that it was quite poor. She forgot items. Service was bad.

Loved the burgers! Not a fan of pop tarts, but the home made pop tarts here were great. We will definitely be back.

I really did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Quaint little place with great service and food. Loved the newspaper like menu.

New in the city, arrived late but called ahead for directions from metro station. Upon arriving we had a 30 min wait, not too bad. Food was awesome, OMG the pop tarts are beyong compare. Everyone at our table enjoyed their selections. Best breakfast in DC!!!

This was our second visit - mostly went back for the home made pop tarts. But everything was tasty and fresh - especially loved the Corned Beef Hash and the homemade sausage.

Ted's serves comfort food. It's good but not great. I had ribs, which were a bit fatty in places. The milkshakes and poptarts are awesome. Service is generally attentive, but it fell off a bit this time.
