With a nifty, retro vibe, Ted's Bulletin lived up to my friend's recommendation in all areas, but one. However, I still think DC residents and visitors alike should make Ted's a regular stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Here's my quibble, which I'm going to chalk up to simple, human error: our waiter forgot to log in food order. Once our personable waiter figured out his mistake, he was gracious and apologetic and even brought us some of their trademark, homemade poptarts as a gesture. Our brunch was great- omelet was hot and there was plenty of it!!; loved that the pot of coffee was left at the table; waiter was very busy but did stop and check on us; the decor was very welcoming and the old historic elements, tin ceiling tiles and original brick walls, give it a renovated warehouse charm. Because it is such a tall space, however, the noise level was pretty intense. We could carry on a conversation, but it was a good thing there were just 2 of us. We're glad we had the experience.
The music was a bit too loud the morning we dined there.
Great adventure. I would suggest placing an addition movie screens in the place so all can see the movies
We loved Ted's Bulletin. Waiter was nice and very helpful. All four dishes at the table were delicious; no complaints from anyone. Adult shake was the best ever! We can't wait to go back with more of our friends!
We had a great low-key dinner, and the cheeseburgers and shakes were fantastic. Highly recommend hitting this place up if you get the chance!
The homemade pop tarts are worth the visit. You can watch them make them in the front window.
Always a treat to eat at Ted's.
Very good food, eclectic venue, excellent variety and reasonably priced. Just a little too loud for conversation.
