Traditional American food is injected with modern trends like their peanut butter bacon burger and cans of IPA. They also make their own pop tarts and Twinkies!! I highly recommend the blue cheese and bacon Brussels sprouts. An old projector on the ceiling plays movies sometimes and there are subtitled shows like the three stooges and the Beavers. I would go with a few friends, a date, or children.
What a great experience, from the moment we walked in, until we left. Great Service! Great brunch (Nana's beer bisquit with sausage gravy was fantastic!!) Coffee was hot, delicious, and plentiful. Only one small complaint - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was playing on a large screen in the dining room (no sound). It was a little distracting for the brunch scene.
A little disappointed with my very dry and tasteless hash browns and biscuit. Very kid and family friendly with the Mr. Breakfast pancake with fruits which was actually good.
Best place in DC for comfort food plus the best milkshakes. One of our favorites on 8th street
We took our 4 year old for a fun dinner outing. It was everything we wanted and the booths are so large that we were able to put our baby car seat comfortably and safely on the seat. LOVE the pop tarts.

We had straightforward fare (scrambled eggs, omelet, hash browns, toast, bacon, turkey sausage), all of which was very good. The sausage was a bit dry, but it was flavorful. Our server was very nice and pretty attentive. Great neighborhood kinda place with good food and prices. I'll definitely bring my mom back the next time she's in town (along with t... read more
Food was fine (dinner), service was good. All round not bad. I understand there are huge lines for brunch.
The food and service was great! Neighborhood feel and highly recommend for breakfast! Must get a pop tart!
This is a good place for an informal meal. The burgers, sandwiches and breakfast items are quite good, and the milkshakes are musts. The service was spotty. Our server did not bring our meal items promptly. As a result the soup was tepid, and the other meal items were not as fresh as one expects at Ted's. This was not my first experience with Ted's and service is usually much better than this.
