The food and experience at Ted's Bulletin were awesome. The small restaurant was packed with people waiting for tables. Service was attentive, friendly, but at times a little slow, which is probably attributable to the number of tables actively being served. We went for dinner and the food was excellent! Tasted like real down-home cooking. I had the shake-n-bake fried chicken and ate every single bite, even the crust crumbs that fell off the chicken while I was eating it. The chicken was moist and tender, while the crust rem... read more
Great food, fast service and delicious drinks! The "adult milkshakes" are delectable and the spinach/feta/mushroom omelet was amazing. My brother had the beer biscuits and sausage gravy which he said were filling and tasty. Lively atmosphere and filled booths give testament to how great this place is. Definitely get a reservation ahead of time as there is a line on any given day. Would love to go back!!
It's mostly comfort food, so it's nothing fancy. That being said, it is one of my favorate places to eat in DC.
I'd been to Ted's Bulletin for breakfast and truly enjoyed it. Especially the homemade poptarts in which they are famous for. This was my first time going there for a quick bite after work with some friends. Everyone had a different burger and raved about it. my lamb burger was decent. It could have use a little zing but overall I enjoyed it.
Great place to eat. It's always best to make a reservation. The food is good and the service was really good
With a nifty, retro vibe, Ted's Bulletin lived up to my friend's recommendation in all areas, but one. However, I still think DC residents and visitors alike should make Ted's a regular stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Here's my quibble, which I'm going to chalk up to simple, human error: our waiter forgot to log in food order. Once our personable waiter figured out his mistake, he was gracious and apologetic and even brought us some of their trademark, homemade poptarts as a gesture. (With tickets to a show at 8 o'clock... read more
Our brunch was great- omelet was hot and there was plenty of it!!; loved that the pot of coffee was left at the table; waiter was very busy but did stop and check on us; the decor was very welcoming and the old historic elements, tin ceiling tiles and original brick walls, give it a renovated warehouse charm. Because it is such a tall space, however, the noise level was pretty intense. We could carry on a conversation, but it was a good thing there were just 2 of us. We're glad we had the experience.
The music was a bit too loud the morning we dined there.
Great adventure. I would suggest placing an addition movie screens in the place so all can see the movies
