Great breakfast menu served all day. And, SWEET tea! My Southern heart just skipped a beat. I highly recommend this neat little place!
This was my 4th time visiting Ted's with a different groups of people (and some repeat offenders) and its always amazing! I have NEVER had a bad meal there and the shakes are to die for! The prices are great for a DC restaurant! Great for small groups up to 6. Needless to say, when I am back in DC I'll be back at Ted's!
Enjoyed lunch before a Nats game with a visiting friend. I had a fabulous chocolate shake and we both enjoyed the Cali Club w/salad. Fun atmosphere and great service! Can't wait to go back...
Friendly efficient service, tasty vittles in manageable portions and decent prices. The adult milkshakes are a big draw. A cushion on those hard wooden benches would raise my ambiane rating to Very Good.
The ambiance here is fantastic, and will keep me coming back. I love the synergy of the decor, the menus, the old movies playing on the big screen - even the coffee is period appropriate, thanks to the folks at Swings who have been roasting beans in the DC area for nearly 100 years. The biscuits and gravy were not the best I've had - the biscuits were pretty dry, and I felt like the gravy was heavy on the salt, but without much spice to it. Had a blast at Ted's Bulletin with a group of people. Everyone's food was very good and the "adult milkshakes" were outstanding. Service was a bit on the slow side, but that wasn't a big concern because we were enjoying our company. I would definitely return.
Great food & don't miss the milkshakes. Attentive & friendly service.
Their breakfasts are great. The French Toast and homemade poptarts are my favorite!
Excellent retro diner style restaurant with a retro menu. Think meatloaf and milk shakes.
