Food was unfortunately extremely disappointing. Ordered the steak frites; nothing special. My husband ordered the reuben - he wasn't a fan either - the thousand island dressing was lacking and even when requesting more on the side, it didn't taste like thousand island. Dessert was ok-the raspberry pop tart was not great. We were taking an out of town friend here and wanted to treat her to dinner - unfortunately this was not the experience we were hoping for. We left hungry :( We've eaten several times in the past and recalle... read more
Terrible overall. Dead flies all over the wall, crusty dishes, room temp/crusty Pellegrino, burnt toast that was presented with "good side" up (very deceiving), and so much garlic on everything it burns your eyes to have food on the table in front of you. When addressing the issues with the server, we were told not to hold out hope that the manager would do anything worthwhile, and it would be best to leave a review. He was right....the manager said "he would let the GM know about the dead bugs everywhere" and that "there is... read more
I’ve enjoyed breakfast at Ted’s Bulletin in the past. Unfortunately, today’s visit was disappointing. I ordered the big Mark‘s breakfast with well done bacon, and I asked to substitute for the tart. The server suggested avocado which I agreed to. First, the bacon didn’t come out well done. Not a huge deal. Then, towards the end of the meal, I realized I didn’t get the hashbrowns. When the server returned, I asked him about it, and he speculated that the kitchen substituted the avocado for hashbrowns. I told him I also didn’t... read more
My chicken sandwich was extremely dry but my waiter(Danny) was excellent.
Club sandwich was awful and you don’t carry regular ranch dressing only spicy cilantro lime??
Food was fine, service was good, the mouse running around the dining room was interesting. Manager didn’t seem to care, I messaged them privately and nobody has bothered to respond. Is this just normal for them?
We elected to eat outdoors because the dining room was even colder than usual. Dinner was served almost immediately after the appetizer arrived. Shortly after that, we were accosted by a swarm of yellow jackets -- a recognized hazard for outdoor dining -- but could not escape inside because of the frigid temperature in there. The Lemon-ricotta appetizer was wonderful, but we didn't get to really enjoy it because dinner came so soon after it arrived. This has been a recurring problem at Ted's. The dinners were ok.
Food - not very good. pasta was not cooked enough and chicken was extremely salty. Actually inedible. Ambience is nice (no music, thank god), so you can actually talk with your date. However, the seats are a very hard slab of wood. Definitely not conducive to a long sitting time. I would've preferred upholstered seats or at least a cushion. Can I recommend this place? NO. Will I be back - NO
