The new Ted's Bulletin in One Loudoun had an exceptional opening day! We had the pleasure of being served by Norma and I must say that she was an absolute delight! She was friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. She made sure that our meal was perfect and that we had everything we needed durning our brunch. Really good atmosphere. Staff were very professional and the food was amazing.
We have been to Ted's many times, and were really surprised about the experience this time. Normally the food and service is great, we were very pleased with the service, but the food was really off yesterday. The deviled eggs were very dry and tasteless. It was if someone halved the mayo and forgot the spices. The Biscuits and Gravy (as we as the eggs), which are normally wonderful were cold and had very little sausage gravy. The noise was very high. The food was cold. One diner asked for no onions and got onions. Doubt we will return. There are lots of better places.
This is the 3rd visit to Ted’s Bulletin at One- Loudoun and this I think is my last. Each time we have visited the food turn out to be very poorly prepared. But after yesterday’s experience I think it would be best if I made my experience known to others who may be thinking of trying out this restaurant. Of course the location and interior design is very appealing and nice for special occasion guests. Ted’s has seriously declined since it first opened. Unfortunately, my recent visit was disappointing from start to finish. Hostess: When we arrived, the hostess didn’t even bother to look up from her screen to greet us. Throughout the interaction, she never made eye contact and her tone was a mix of disgruntled annoyance, as if we were inconveniencing her by walking in. Despite making reservations 90 minutes before, when we arrived there was no table and the host said “it’s just getting cleaned up.” After 20 minutes of waiting a different host informed us a table still was not ready and they didn’t know how long it would take. Offered us an outdoor table (which when we made a reservation, were allegedly fully booked) but it was too hot and uncomfortable.
