We enjoyed our dinner and the drinks at the bar before hand. Great service and very friendly.

This was our 2nd visit. First time was amazing, but this time not so much. I'm sure it was just our server. He told us 3 different sizes on their lobster tails, 8,10,20 oz. When I ordered the 10oz tail, he stated they didn't have that size only 4 and 20. Complete different sizes. Next was our dessert. We ordered the chocolate souffle, which would have been magnificent had he not poured lemon sauce thru it. It was supposed to be chocolate but he mistakenly used the wrong sauce. We were staying at the El Dorado and ate at Lastrada for our anniversary dinner. Kimberly, our waitress was superb and all the wait staff was very attentive. I ordered the six course dinner which was excellent, my wife had the mushroom ravioli which was also terrific. The staff sang for us in Italian for our anniversary. The evening and the food were wonderful!
We live in the Chicago land area and always make a point of having dinner at La Strada when we are in the Reno-Tahoe area. We are usually out there every summer and sometimes in the fall. We love the food, it's always delicious and the wait staff is great. On a side note - we went to Roxy this year for steak. We were really disappointed last year when we heard Sterlings was closing and being replaced by Ruths Chris which we think is just OK. Service couldn’t be beat. Prime rib was enough for two and cooked to perfection. Dessert was Chocolate Chunk Parfait and was superb.

The food and service were great! Best part... We planned dinner there and bought show tickets without knowing that, because we were going to a show at the hotel, we got 50% off our dinner! It was a good value before that and amazing after! Highly recomend
