RecommendedI boarded my dog Tyson for the first time over Labor Day weekend. I was unsure exactly what day I would be picking up and they were so accommodating to say whatever worked best for me. When I picked Tyson up, it was obvious to see that he was very well taken care of. He had a bath and smelled wonderful. It comforting when your away to know your pet is safe and cared for. I will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend anyone looking for a top notch place to board your pet.
I have been taking my dog Stella for training with Jocelyn for about 2 years now. Stella comes twice a week for the day board and train program. This is perfect for both of us. I get to drop Stella off in the morning & she gets to have fun for the day while also learning. It’s honestly SO perfect for my busy schedule AND it’s affordable!!! I can not express how much I love The Barking Dog! It was stressful trying to find the best place for my boy. The prices are in the ballpark with other facilities, they have a pool (which is great when you have a lab), when I pick my boy up he is happy and tired 🥱! I have also been doing training with Jocelyn and it has made such a huge difference. She is absolutely wonderful! She keeps you up to date with emails detailing what they worked on and always helps with any questions I have.
My two mini doxies seem to like it at Barking Dog in Hooksett and Cheyenne is particularly attentive to my pups. She is quick to answer my texts when we are away to ease my concerns. I never like leaving my pups when we go away but my husband and I feel confident that the “girls” will be well cared for when we leave them at Barking Dog in Hooksett!!
As many others, hadn't been away for so long. This sweet place treated our two girlies to a spa weekend and as if they were their own dogs. Above and beyond. EVERYONE had a great weekend! Thank you The Barking Dog - Hooksett!
My dog was well cared for. The facility offers dog playtime as well as playtime with staff. My dog returned home clean and healthy.
Had our dog boarded for 10 days here. We hadn’t been on vacation since before the beginning of the pandemic, so he hadn’t been boarded in a long time - I was extremely nervous leaving him at a new boarding place. I was so pleasantly surprised when arriving. The staff was so accommodating with my nervousness, as well as making sure my dog was in the right space/had the right package to make him as comfortable as possible. Who’s better than Jocelyn?! We took our two and a half year old English Mastiff to train with her and are most thankful! We’re sure Lincoln wasn’t the easiest to work with, but Jocelyn was instinctive and focused on all the important issues. She spent extra time with us so we could practice Lincoln’s new skills. What a big improvement in his behavior at home! Thank you, Jocelyn, and to all the staff!
Always friendly, always helpful. It’s alittle expensive but worth it if my dog is well cared for which he seems to be. Waits to get into socializing so my dog needs to stay in boarding which is not the best but we r waiting. Clean and well organized. The animals do not come out smelling like strong antiseptic as we have experienced in the past. We like it.
