RecommendedThe Veterinarians and staff are not only extremely knowledgeable but also very caring and compassionate! They were able to diagnose my Leopard Gecko, Julius. Even though a vet elsewhere had not only completely misdiagnosed Julius, but had dismissed my concerns. The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine is AMAZING!!! I will ONLY take my reptiles there from here on out. Well worth the 4 hour round trip drive.
I had a very sick chinchilla with dental disease and they basically helped me bring him back to life. I had no idea he was suffering until it was almost too late. Their staff and Veterinarians are so helpful and very approachable. I would recommend this place to anyone who has animals. Our pets were treated like family. Thank you to all who work here.

I have nothing but kind things to say about this practice. Today we were brought in with a sick betta fish who my girlfriend and I were both very attached to. We were never made to feel as if our emergency with little Pedro was "silly" or unimportant while we were here. From our first initial call to the front desk, the triage, intake exam, and his eventual euthanasia were all done very professionally; though we are incredibly sad, I am relieved Pedro did not have to suffer. Knowledgeable and caring staff, open 24 hours, easy to schedule.
The medical team at this hospital have been great. The front desk team have been great as well. Communication has been very thorough. Our pet duck underwent major surgery with Dr. McLaughlin recently. I was very nervous about the anesthesia process with birds. They called me 3 times that day with updates which really helped my nerves. Our beloved Duckboy is doing very well. Also, the hospital is very modern and welcoming with super easy access from highway 405.
They are pleasant and caring. Your emergency will be well handled. They have a compassionate and intelligent approach to your pets needs and will make sure to fit your needs too. They are good at what they do, but expenses add up. Be prepared to make tough decisions and pay for their expertise. They have always been open for my pet emergencies and I never had to sit at home with a critical care critter with no option. I love their caring approach. my favorite is the reception staff ❤

They take excellent care of our little bird and are upfront about the costs.
They are amazing here. We had an emergency visit with Dr. Myers and her communication and passion were great given the circumstances we are there on top of not being an established patient. The way she explained things and listened to our concerns all in a shaken up time frame were great. I highly recommend her.
