My husband and I chose The Chateau in Waltham because of good food and parking. After our salads and bread, we ate delicious baked stuffed scallops with rice. For dessert, he enjoyed vanilla ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream and a cherry on top while I ate spumoni with claret sauce. Our server was excellent.
The Chateau Restaurant is OVER THE TOP. We have been there many times and have never been disappointed. The Staff is outstanding.... I've had a couple of group lunches there and everyone raves about the food. SO FRESH. Can't wait to go back - it's one of my favorite places.
The service was good, the food was ok. I ordered the Tuscany salmon off the gluten free menu and found it to be bland. I have been here previously and also ordered from the gluten free menu and found the chicken broccoli pasta bland. The gluten free dinner roll is a nice touch but it's dry. My husband who ordered of the regular menu said his food was good.
Delicious food great service. Noisy family restaurant but not so noisy we couldn’t talk and hear each other.
Exactly what you would expect. Decent food at decent prices. Nice people. A lot of choice on the menu in the American and basic Italian range. Old school looking and what was once fancy, but is now comfortable - not retro, actually old. Nice place to go when you’re in between getting take out fast and cheap and up scale and you want a lot of choice.
The hostess and waiter could not have been nicer. The restaurant is your classic, big Italian establishment. The food just wasn’t very flavorful. The lasagna tasted mostly of the ricotta, the red sauce tasted like tomato sauce with sugar. The fettuccine was mostly butter. My daughter’s burger was ok, nothing to write home about.
food and drink selection is good. Services was great. Overall a good night. would definitely come again.
We have been eating at the Chateaus for at least 30 years. It never disappoints.
Our server was outstanding, and the food was excellent with a great price.
