We had dinner last night at the Chef's table and the food was wonderful. To start we ordered the Onion Bahji , clam chowder and the Vleis Pastei , and as the main course we had the Lollipop lamb chops , the chicken pendurada and the beef Wellington, for dessert we shared the sticky toffe pudding … everything was delicious !! and we met the chef Paul Friedman, very nice and told us about his interesting trips to South Africa. We really enjoyed the evening, and for sure we will be back.
I hosted my Thursday retired men's luncheon at The Chef's Table last week. Seven of the eight of us were new to the restaurant, all are ready to come back and put it on our regular's list. We had soup, gumbo, fish, chicken and salads. All were delicious! Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

We had an amazing time. The food was delicious and the service was great.
I'm so glad they opened this location in river oaks. They're doing it right. Nice diverse menu. The bar needs time for more diversity in the drinks but very solid base. Service was very good. Nice ambiance and a warm environment. Good menu pricing as well. We'll be back to sample more items from the menu.
Amazing experience all around. Very welcoming environment and service was above and beyond our expectations.
