Really enjoyed the variety of new dishes and flavors. This will be my local go-to restaurant for the future.
Delicious food, meats were spiced well , tender and perfectly cooked. This was my first time tasting Ostrich meat. The menu has lots of variety of choices. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Our Greater JJ and Server Romania were great. They explained to us about the owner and the food. We looked at the South Africa photo book that was at the front desk. We can't wait to come back. We were in South Africa in 2015 and were so reminded of our trip. We came home to look at the pictures! We had the Ceviche, TCT Wings, and the Lollipop chops. I wish we were close by so we can visit more often. Definitely a must go to restaurant! We plan to visit again whenever we are in the area!
I've been to the location in Vintage Park, but this was my first time at the River Oaks location. The food and service mirrored the original location and did not vary at all. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch.
This was a new restaurant for us and we enjoyed it thoroughly. I had not realised it was a SA restaurant until we arrived and was surprised because SA food is heavily meat oriented. I had scanned menus beforehand and was very impressed with the range of vegetarian options available. I ended up trying the butternut squash ravioli and it did not disappoint. A true foodie experience. A varied traditional menu (steak, fish, lamb, etc). Great service. Both the dining and bar are an excellent place to enjoy lunch or dinner. A must go………..
My 2nd visit. The food is reliably delicious, meats were tender and cooked perfectly. Spiced just right as well. Highly recommend the signature dish. Chef Paul Friedman visited our table and many others. Very personable. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Compliments to Chef Paul and all his staff!
