I've dined at The Chef's Table at Vintage Park and loved it, but it's a bit of a drive from where I live. I'm SO happy Chef Paul opened up this new location in River Oaks, which is a 5 minute drive for me! Already been there 3 times and will continue to dine there...food is consistently good!
Fantastic restaurant. We have been there several times and tried so many different dishes. All excellent. The service is great too. Strongly recommend.

The food was excellent and a good value. Unique South African fare. Our server was nice and fairly attentive. We ordered a Chardonnay and a Sauvignon was brought. My wife confirmed we agreed and said Chardonnay. After a little hesitation, server brought the Chardonnay. The food took extremely long to be prepared. We waited almost 30 minutes for our first course. The head chef was there to greet as as we left, which was nice.
We came for HRW - made very welcome by front desk and our waiter/barman - made one of the best Old Fashioned I have ever had - complete with table side prep of smoked cinnamon. I had the stuffed peppers, other half had the ginger carrot soup - both very tasty. We had the filet and fish for the entrees - again top quality in taste and presentation. Well done Chefs Table!
We had very attentive service. We visited during restaurant week to sample the menu. The food was good. Service was first rate. Very cosy interior. We dined early but the noise level still allowed us to carry on a conversation, even as the restaurant filled up.
