I have found the administration and staff to be very friendly and responsible people. The caregivers are kind, attentive and competent. The housekeeping staff are excellent. The facility is always neat and clean. Most important their are no unpleasant odors. The chef and dining room contingent prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals with a smile and good natured quips. We had a nice experience here at this community. The have a very good staff here, they did a good job caring for my mother and her needs. The community looks great, everything is very well maintained. Overall I knew my mother was being cared for well here. This is a community I would recommend.
Brookdale Carrollwood has a lot of hallways and alcoves. It seemed slightly larger than what we were looking for. It did not seem as clean as the slightly smaller community we chose. The staff that we meet seemed nice and knowledgable.
I like the fact that it has 1 level to it. It seems like everyone socializes together.
We currently use Brookdale Carrollwood for daycare, and overall they do a good job. It is a nice looking place, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is also somewhere we are considering moving into, although there are a few things I think they could work on. I think the community could be set up better for those with mobility issues, and I also think the prices are a bit too high.
They tried to work with us. My father has alzeihmers. But there were a few needs that he had that they overlooked in the assessment (which in retrospect I feel should have been more thorough). I ended up having to get dad out of there and into a care facility that had more of a focus on memory care.

Emeritus at Carrollwood has exceeded my expectations. My family had a very difficult decision to make as to what ALF to move my mother to. She has lived in her own home for many years. After consulting with all her doctors about her failing memory and difficulty handling her affairs we concluded that it was time to move her. There is a lack of cultural and religious variety. The food is okay. It’s new for me. There is a nice outside area is nice. There’s no view though. We chose it because it was conveniently located. We need to get some exercise options for my dad though.
