IF you see Dr. Hashim that's OK. But I booked an appointment with The Dermatology Specialists online only to find the center closed when I got there. I called to make an appointment on another day and was assured the center was open. But when I got there there was no doctor there that day. Only a very nice PA, but that's not the same thing as a licensed dermatologist. I was not told that there would be no doctor seeing patients when I made my appointment. How nice it is to have a dermatology center right here in Jackson Heights. I was seen very quickly after arriving, the staff was pleasant and helpful, Dr. Hashim "knew his stuff", the facility is attractively decorated and in all it was a very positive and pleasant experience.
I was a walk in patient and the staff in the front desk was very accommodating. I asked her if I can see a doctor at once and she was able to schedule me the following day. The doctor who attended to me (I’m sorry I forgot his name) was really a specialist and explained to me on what to and prescribed a medicine.
