Meagan Maniscalco, PA-C was the Dermatology Specialist who examined me on October 27th of 2022. She took the necessary time to research my condition and then she explained what was wrong with me. She referred me to the proper type of doctor, a neurologist specializing in deep skin conditions, that would handle my problem. Meagan told me it was not necessary to see her again. IF you see Dr. Hashim that's OK. But I booked an appointment with The Dermatology Specialists online only to find the center closed when I got there. I called to make an appointment on another day and was assured the center was open. But when I got there there was no doctor there that day. Only a very nice PA, but that's not the same thing as a licensed dermatologist. I was not told that there would be no doctor seeing patients when I made my appointment. How nice it is to have a dermatology center right here in Jackson Heights. I was seen very quickly after arriving, the staff was pleasant and helpful, Dr. Hashim "knew his stuff", the facility is attractively decorated and in all it was a very positive and pleasant experience.
