So glad one of these opened up near me. Same price as their competitors but more amenities like saunas and a cinema room. Edge Cinema is great because I spend a lot more time on cardio when having a movie theathre experience. They play good movies too. Also the shakes you can get are amazing.

Love this gym. I was really shocked to see that the stars and reviews were so bad . I've been to all the other gyms like planet , crunch , LA and anytime but I like this one the most . Nice plate loaded machines as well as the free weight area with nice squat racks. All the staff is friendly and will spark conversation. Love the sauna with the TV in it as well as the theater room where I can do cardio while being distracted by the movie playing ( I hate cardio ) . This is the Wordt Experience with any gym membership I have ever encountere. After trying to cancel my membership after completing my 2 year contract I was told that there would be a fee. it would be more beneficial to renew my contract. I felt like I was bullied into resigning up. About 4 weeks ago I had surgery prior to my surgery I was having issues my membership was the furthest thing from my mind. 0 Stars for Edge Fitness in Westland. I have been trying to cancel my membership that my ex-husband signed me up for a year ago because I divorced him due to domestic violence and they refuse to cancel it. I have reached out via phone call, in-person, email and social media and no one will help me. I work in fitness as a manager and have been for 8 years in boutique and this is no way to treat anyone. Don't sign up without a lawyer, the place is a scam. Won't let you cancel for any reason, then will tell you your cancelled after a certain date and still bill you on the back up account. At this day in edge it's not worth it to sell you soul to a gym there are better less risky options.

I have to say I am highly disappointed in this company. I closed my account last year and submitted the required paperwork to have the account canceled only to find out several months later that my account was never closed and sent to collections, which racked up a bill for over $1300 dollars. It is very disheartening because I have tried everything to rectify this situation. I have been going to your gym for over a year now, the gym itself is clean and it is overall a nice gym. It definitely is EXTREMELY PACKED, which is frustrating at times. I am writing to you today because the tanning beds are disgusting! It is almost so unsanitary that the health department should be notified. Either the staff needs to clean them down before/after each use, or you need to provide proper cleaning materials (more than some moist towelettes to clean these down) to be honest you SHOULD either way. Do not do gym membership unless you want to be scammed out of your if money. Signed up slightly before Covid with a $1 dollar special online. My friend Recommended them to me. The day I decided to go Covid happens and the gym closes. Fast forward months later when they can reopen I no longer want to attend this gym because it would be a hassle when I can go to the plant fitness that's walking distance from my house.
