Excellent gym in terms of value/cost. Best I've ever seen. I've been a member of five different gyms over the past 20 years including Lifetime fitness and Edge Fitness offers the best value.

The price is unbeatable for amazingly maintained equipment. The best part of coming to edge unlike competitors is they have a staff around the clock cleaning equipment so you can ensure it will always be clean!

The EDGE Club in Crystal Lake, Illinois, has one employee who stands out...His name is "Anthony." He explained everything when I met him while joining a few months ago.. He was extremely kind, helpful, answered all of my questions and took me for a nice tour of the facility...He's a big reason why I decided to join..I do love the facility.. As a former U.S. Marine, he has the perfect skill sets as required for his current role (Membership of new prospective members) He's also able to do some Personal Training when needed... read more

I love this gym! Reasonable priced, large, awesome equipment, and more! It's a very unique place with my favorite area being the cinema room. You work out on cardio machined while watching a movie and they always have great options and new releases! A great way to get cardio in while being distracted by a movie! I do also enjoy the womens area as the normal gym can get crowded (I've only gone during busy times due to work). The equipment is new and clean. Great Equipment, Plenty of Friendly Staff to Help, & Clean Facility Last gym I was a member of besides Curran Mixed Martial Arts in Crystal Lake or the countless military facilities around the world was GOLD's GYM. That was nearly twenty years ago, and I'll have to say that the quality of equipment has exponentially improved since then. Gorgeous facility. Immaculate. Could use another tri machine . Clientele friendly. Peak times should be avoided. Do diligence. 1 negative- the mens locker room is unwelcoming d/t very low temp. This would appear to be part of the business model. For this downside, I'm withholding a 5th star.

Came here yesterday with my son as a guest. Fabulous facility! I can't speak to the accounting or management issues in the other post as I did not have that experience. My review is based on the gym itself. I've been a gym member for several decades at a variety of locations both in the city and in the suburbs. The absolute worst to deal with when it comes to customer service, the manager at the club was able to cancel my daughter's membership. It did take four months to cancel and they wouldn't backdate it. Those four months cost $120 in monthly fees. Decent gyms just a bad corporate policy

I've been trying to cancel my daughter's membership for three months now, it is brutal trying to get it canceled. I went into the club they said they couldn't do it I needed to email corporate, I emailed corporate I had no response. You would think the manager of this club would take it in his hands and get it done, but I have not got any response from the manager.
