Several days ago I called about my account charge and was told someone would call me back. They never did. So I called to cancel and they told me I had to email with a certain number. After emailing someone for help they told me I was charged $60 for a yearly enhancement fee. I absolutely positively was not verbally told about that fee at sign up. I would have never signed up if that was the case. Hiding that in a contract is absolutely insane. When I asked for my contract they told me I need to call my club to get that. ... read more

Sadly I am not sure what is going on at The Edge Crystal Lake. You lost one of the best front desk employees ever. The turnover here is ridiculous. Though, my BIGGEST complaint (which I will say ALOT of members agree) the music is sometimes ridiculously LOUD. This has been a HUGE ongoing UNADDRESSED PROBLEM. I wear noise cancelling headphones and I can't even hear my own music. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop the madness and use common sense. You members HATE the inconsistently LOUD music. The absolute worst to deal with when it comes to customer service, the manager at the club was able to cancel my daughter's membership. It did take four months to cancel and they wouldn't backdate it. Those four months cost $120 in monthly fees. Decent gyms just a bad corporate policy

I've been trying to cancel my daughter's membership for three months now, it is brutal trying to get it canceled. I went into the club they said they couldn't do it I needed to email corporate, I emailed corporate I had no response. You would think the manager of this club would take it in his hands and get it done, but I have not got any response from the manager.

Manager and membership girl are beyond rude and unprofessional very bad customer stick for someone walk for First time walking to consider membership / If there is zero start I will get them zero Terrible management /

Hey we really enjoy coming here except for the music. You have younger people working here but it's more middle age to older people during the day and this music (rap) you have on is so depressing and not uplifting for working out. Come on! It's just awful.

How is this gym never clean despite the fact getting charged for an "annual cleaning fee" every month. It smells like it has never been cleaned. Machines are always broken and it just opened. If that's not enough, the high school kids running around like it's chuck e. cheese will help your guest experience. Some of the employees are the rudest people I've ever seen, how you conduct that way when you're working SALES is crazy. Opened a membership over a year ago, wanted to cancel, could not, said had to wait a year, it's been over a year and they will not cancel.

I've never visited or signed up for anything from edge fitness yet they somehow got my phone number and now send me spam texts on a regular basis. I block every number I get their spam from and it keeps coming day after day. I don't want to join their club and I can't opt out of their predatory messaging because they have infinite numbers to send it from. DO NOT GIVE THIS GYM YOUR INFORMATION FOR ANY REASON.
