Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They gave me and 2 other people 3 different answers for the same question. They are rude on the phone, and in email. NOT worth your money. Go to a place that respects customers.
I moved out of state in December. Have been trying to cancel my membership since January. I have called multiple times. Sent emails multiple times to many people. Still is active and now owe a lot of money.
The edge has responded to my comment pertaining to the hot water saying that they fixed it. It is now over a month after this problem was 'fixed' and it has happened again. Except this time, there was not even a sign that said "sorry we have no hot water". When I told the staff of the problem, I was told "yes we know but I am not sure when it will get fixed". It's very crowded. Still better than planet fitness and that joke of a gym Retro fitness in Aston. Employees are young and semi knowledgeable, not a fan of steve bush (one of the instructors) but other than him all the others are a breath of fresh air.
The good: beautiful gym. great equipment. nice staff. TV in the sauna. (that's why it gets crowded, it's a nice gym.) The bad: TV screen in the sauna is broken. ICE COLD SHOWERS. Between 6-9AM expect to take an ICE COLD SHOWER. Management has yet to do or say anything about the issue to its members. The gym itself is ok and it is cheap, but you have a 30% chance on any given day of the boiler being out for the men's room and the water will be ice cold. Fuck this place.
My favorite gym I've ever belonged to but do not join for spin classes! They used to have good instructors like Erica Brown but they moved her to another gym even after me and others have told to the front desk about how much we loved her and how i lost 10 pounds from taking her class! Now how bad the other instructors are. Some of the bad ones would play jazz music or 80s music i hate to break it to u but it's 2019 music taste have changed! My husband joined this fitness center approximately 5-6 months ago. In the beginning, everything was great. However, due to my husband health, we had to cancel his membership. That is when the the nonsense started. Initially, "we" were informed that the membership could not be cancel before 3 months. Now "Matt" tells me the commitment is for 12-18 months. Wholly shit! This place is super awesome but no room to workout. We went at 8pm on a Tuesday so you have thought it would die down. Nope! Shame cause it's a great value for the price. Furthermore, I see no end in sight. They are doing tours for new members hourly. I quit Planet Fitness for this place, which there is not doubt it's superior. Again no room. Checking out cross fit in my area.
