Update: I changed my review based on the way Marshall the General Manager of The Grand Legacy at the Parks Hotel handled my complaint. After we had emailed him about our experience with his Restaurant Manager Robert and the way the event turned out, he personal contacted us to apologize and to start dialogue as to how to come to an amends. He was very professional when responded to our bad experience. He repeatedly apologized and didn't try to excuse the manager Robert's behavior. I wish I would of read all the reviews before hand.....ugh!!! Very overpriced& it took FOREVER to get our drinks. The only good thing about this place is the view. I will never go back I was very very very unsatisfied!
The atmosphere was nice along with the music (until a 30 year anniversary party took over the mic./things were said when their were families present with their young kids, very inappropriate) It took too long to receive our food and when it finally came out it was cold. It wasn't until our party of 6 received our dinners that the waiter informed 1 person in our party that they were out of what she ordered (artichokes) So, needless to say, she didn't eat since we already had our food. Forget the Valet. It's always full. So, unless you arrive by Uber or Lyft, be prepared for a 10-15 minute walk from the Garden Walk parking structure. The service wasn't good. When we went to ask the hostess to give us a table with an umbrella to protect us from the sun, she first said they were all booked (not true, we noticed later). If I could give a lower score I would!! Poor and slow service even after requesting a waitress , weak watered down cocktails, cold processed chicken tenders, flat soft drinks and when ordering a bottle of wine the bottle arrived without an ice bucket. Found food and drinks to be overpriced for what we received and when it was mentioned to the manager he didn't seem to care. The one star is for the view only. I would not recommend the Fifth to anyone.
Loved the live band playing called Honey County...They rocked it .......was not impressed with the service ....very slow ( had to ask some1 to find our waitress to order food and the food was cold when it arrived (cold Fettuccini sticks together when its cold) and took over 1 hr to get a refill on our ice teas...
Amazing view from this beautiful rooftop, outdoor only restaurant. The live music was original and interesting. The portions were extremely small for the price with no sides included. As an example, my bleu cheese burger was about the size of a tea cup with no offering of fries, fruit, salad, or something more interesting. Music was extremely loud, atmosphere was amazing but the food was lousy honestly train that cook, everyone's food was charcoal burnt and the salad was bad. Kinda weird to ruin a salad.
