The food is not good and the food service is worse than that . It takes over an hour to get your food in there. Last week it took one hour to get a hamburger. An hour! That is totally insanity! And on top of that, I saw a water bug yesterday !

I am rating the facility based on my interactions with the staff and observations. I rated the food and activities a 2. The Glades is undergoing another management company change. I understand this is the third management company in 5 – 6 years. Is this typical? I am hoping, as is my Mom, that the food will be better under the new management company. We are disappointed that the facility does not have a choir or Bridge club, as they stated when we signed on. They seem to have a lot of activities, just not the ones that my Mo... read more

I was unaware that my mother would need a physician's approval prior to her acceptance. We were far into the process when this was brought up. It took weeks to set up the doctor appointment, and this delayed her move-in date. Also, the corporation operating the Glades is changing in April, so more changes to come!

I been a resident here here over 5 years with the constant change , I see no better difference, the food is horrible , they should of kept that other big European chef they had before he was very good pleasant and would do events outside and dance with us residents , the old activities ladies was amazing as well as the sales team but the place does loook Well But we are paying so much don’t know how long I’ll be there if they keep Increasing are rent so high , I go live the new renovated spaces it’s very welcoming

The Glades was too big. We wanted a "more homelike " place where he wouldn't feel anonymous. They also did not respond to my inquiry in a timely manner, by the time they did I was already working with another facility. The tour was well done though.
