Staff always say hi and are very patient. They have a lot of fun activities and outings. I wish they would have a few more for legally blind residents. Dining room feels like a vacation and there are lots of choices including the ability to get 1/2 if you are not a big eater. Overall my mom has been very happy there and has made many friends.
Overall The Grove is a wonderful place and we are glad our sister is there. Only major complaint is the managing of her diet ie, diabetic (non-insulin) and the simple request of only serving her sugar-free desserts and syrup for pancakes is not happening consistently. I can also say that their holiday and special occasions festivities are wonderful
This facility is amazing! My mom has only had one concern and that was… “everyone seems so nice.” She often tells me that she loves the food and while she is a very independent spirit, she tries to tell me that when she gets better l, she wants to move out, by is concerned that she likes The Grove too much… when my mom shares that she feels that way, I know she really does love it. I would say the most outstanding aspect of The Grove is the staff. They love their jobs and you can tell from the moment you walk in. I appreciate all the activities available for residents along with options for daily exercise and a weekly Bible study. [name removed] the chef was very accommodating to our dietary needs when we had a family dinner. My father lived at the Grove until he passed in [date removed]. What we like the most about The Grove is the very friendly staff and residents My Mom made friends very quickly. Staff is amazing and attentive. Yes, we would absolutely recommend The Grove community to other families!
Everyone is so friendly that works there. Once my mom got used to the day to day activities and made friends she has been happy. She’s eating better, getting out and seems happier. As a family we are happy she is safe and is getting the help she needs.
I have had friends ask me and I am highly encouraging them to consider the Grove. I'm speaking to one about it tomorrow. The staff at the Grove is incredible. The fact that a large part of the staff are still there from when my father lived there from 2012 until he passed to heaven in 2015 is a testimony to the type of organization and caring in that community. My father currently lives at Sunrise of Fresno and everything at this facility has been great. The facility is clean. The staff is reliable and caring. Communication with the family is constant. The nurses are on board to assist my father. I would highly recommend this facility to family and friends.
The staff is very compassionate, and is willing to help you with anything you need.
