I do think is a great facility and the staff is very dedicated. This is a great fit four our loved one and family.
My mom has been at Artis Senior Living in Elmhurst just about a year now, and she really loves living here. She has her own room and private bathroom but most of all she loves the staff. They are kind, professional, and family. We know them all by name. We see them when we visit because they look in on her and speak to us when we are there. They have activities, good food, clean environment, and top notch medical care. Unfortunately our loved one did not stay a full 24hrs until we realized she needed way more care. This was no fault to the community because they were wonderful, we loved the staff, and the executive director. They seemed very knowledgeable when it came to memory care patients and we liked all the web seminars they had. It helped our family understand what behavior's to expect when it came to dementia/Alzheimer's

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm sorry we didn't make the cut due to the commute, but please keep us in mind if your plan doesn't work out. Many families find that we are worth the trip to get the personalized memory care support that they get at Artis.
Our family had an in person tour and the community seemed very nice and clean. Since it is memory care only we liked the security they had for people coming and going. However the community was just to far away and we wanted somewhere closer in case of emergencies.

This community did not meet my loved ones needs at the time that we were looking for a community. The tour was very good and great, and they gave a lot of information.

We have done outdoor visits with our loved one, and the staff members we have encountered so far has been great. Unfortunately we have just not been able to go inside the community yet and really get to experience everything they have to offer.

We chose Artis Senior Living because of the location and all of the staff members that I talked to, they were great with getting us in during the pandemic. They have been very good with communication, they call me regularly and I can schedule face times whenever to chat with my mom. We have been really pleased with everything we have encountered with the facility. They are very accommodating and I would definitely recommend them.

The staff is phenomenal. The quality of care is wonderful. It is a really clean place. They have food choices that are adequate. The room sizes are good. They have beautiful outdoor spaces for residents to use.
