I've lived here for going on 3 years, and honestly, this has been one of the best complexes I've lived in. I've had my share of issues, which come with any apartment that you have, but for the most part, this complex is nice and quiet. The portal is easy to use for paying your rent, reviewing documents, and even putting in maintenance requests. Totally happy here. Apartments are older but well maintained and the grounds are very nice. I feel safe here and my home is a great value.
I lived at the Invitational for nearly two years, 2014-2016, until I had to break my lease because I was relocating to Tulsa. The good: I lived at the front of the complex, right across the street from the police station, and I always felt safe. The location was good, close to stores and restaurants, and not in a sketchy neighborhood. Very disappointed. This apartment complex looks nice. It's in a pretty good area. We quickly learned looks aren't everything. We have been here for four months and had 2 leaks in the bathroom and one in our bedroom. They were supposed to do dry wall repairs on Wednesday and it is now Sunday and those repairs have not been made. We are consistently having our unit filled with weed smoke from the neighbors around us. The contract everyone signed says no weed is allowed. Genuinely the worst complex I have ever stayed at in my entire life. When we first moved in on move in day there was a dead roach on the counter. Not a great sign. Over the next 7 months we had a constant roach problem, RATS, at one point a water stain and ceiling damage got so bad they had to come in and cut it out. However they did not finish fixing it for TWO MONTHS. So we just had a giant hole in the ceiling above the tub. And the cherry on top of all of this awfulness? STAY FAR AWAY from this place. My girlfriend was verbally & sexually harassed by our downstairs neighbors, we reported it to their management team, and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it. Their customer service is poor at best, and they obviously do not conduct any type of background checks on ANY of their residents. DO NOT RENT HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!
