We pride ourselves in our ability to help our patients and clients rather than sell to them. The health and happiness of our little (and big!) patients is paramount. RecommendedWe adore Dr. Shepherd and all the Vet Techs and staff here at Ridge Animal Hospital. Each time we’ve had to visit we have been made to feel so comfortable and welcome. Dr Shepherd works tirelessly to help figure out what is going on with each pup and has truly earned the trust of my whole family (both 2 and 4 legged). We wholeheartedly know that our babies are in good hands when they come here for care!

Absolutely love this place and all the staff late Tuesday night my 10 week old kitten got out and was attacked by something we didn’t think he was going to make it after the horrible experience we had at NC state veterinary hospital they didn’t even want to help my baby...but I got on the phone right away and found this wonderful place they told me to go get Simba and bring him ASAP when I got Simba there they took him back right away treated him like he was their own I was scared and upset that Simba would not ever come hom... read more

The staff and vets are so compassionate and caring. I could not imagine carrying my fur babies anywhere else.

We have brought all of our cats here forever. We miss Jimmy Gates, but we saw Dr Kellum this week. She was wonderful with Kiki and very knowledgeable. Kiki was so scared and she was very gentle with him. The whole staff is friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in. They’re all very caring. They all seem to realize that pets are Family.

Awsome staff, every time I go in there with one of my Fur Babies they are treated like a member of their family. With love and compassion no matter the issue, you are in and out within a blink of an eye. Thank you so much for treating us so quick and efficient.

The doctor, Dr Sheppard, and the staff are wonderful, gentle and caring to both you and your pet. They show you both respect and understand fighting cancer or what ever illness is hard and will help you get through it. I love these people.
