Wow. These reviews are very interesting. I went there this spring and was told I needed 2 root canals and 2 crowns. And had it done at $2500. I recommended my wife Rachael to them to fix a tooth another dentist failed to fix and came home to tell me she needs 3 crowns and was given a quote of $3100.00, hmm I am going to have a 2nd opinion for her and will report back.

What is with these reviews? Seems like most are from before it became a smileist location. All i can say is i haven't been to the dentist in 15 years. Had slight pain, and they addressed it IMMEDIATELY. I've always had the runaround with insurance, but i was notified UPFRONT of possible costs if i continued with a filling or root canal. Unfortunately, i needed a root canal (i figured since the cavity was so deep, i can put my tongue in it), but i was treated with respect after asking for all possible options. I've had only positive experiences here. The staff is always so friendly which I appreciate! And when I had to bring my 4 month old to an appointment they were so accommodating and put me at ease. I'm in the midst of getting some major work done on my front teeth, which has been a really emotional experience for me, and every person I've dealt with there has been so patient and understanding.

I just moved to East Islip, and this is by far the best Dental Practice I have ever been to. I have been there twice in the past few weeks they made sure I was able to get in twice before the end of the year so my insurance did not lapse. I went in for a cleaning and the Hygenist Sheila, was amazing she made sure I was not only informed but went out of her way to make sure that everything was taken care of. I rarely leave reviews, but definitely had to as seeing some of the older reviews may be a little off putting. This office is amazing. From the minute I walked into the office I was greeted with a welcoming smile and hand shake. The office is very clean and the staff here is extremely professional and knowledgable. The Staff is consistently friendly helping ease the anxiety often associated with dental work. Roe the biller is fantastic and a pleasure to speak with always. The wait time was perfect, just enough time to brush my teeth quick before going in. Dr. Apostol and her assistant where amazing! She keeps a very calming environment throughout the procedure, consistently checking in on me asking if I'm doing ok. I cannot say enough great things!! I came in a few weeks ago for a cleaning and was told I had a few cavities, they do not take my insurance but Barbara did her absolute best to work out a payment plan. Dr Henna did my fillings and she is the best!! She truly really makes you feel comfortable, the rest of the staff is amazing, and office is very clean!! I would absolutely recommend coming here!!
I walked in and the atmosphere was so nice! I was greeted by Kim and Bianca at the front desk with smiles. Everything was went pretty fast and the wait was minimal. I meet with Dr. Apostol she answered all my questions and was extremely knowledgeable.Im recommending my entire rehab department... care was phenomenal
I am terrified of the dentist and hadn't gone for so long (I'm embarrassed to say how long). I finally went to the dentist and had a full on melt down in the exam room. But my hygienist was a saint. She help calm me down and we got on with the cleaning and the pictures. The doctor was very nice too. I've been going for almost 2 years now and suggest this office to everyone.
