I don't know where to start about this place. Honestly, the hygienists and the reception staff are GREAT! But "Doctor" and I use that term sarcastically; you're a dentist guy. This fool sent probably one of the most snippy and condescending letters concerning my dental provider. DO NOT GO HERE. It is a scam. I went in for a tooth ache and a cleaning. They told me I needed to redo all of my fillings and a root canal. I made an appointment for the problem tooth where they redid all of my fillings EXCEPT THE PROBLEM TOOTH. By doing so they maxed out my insurance and now I am left with the problem tooth. Overall not a very good experience. Being someone with no insurance I found their prices to be extremely outrageous and unfair. I left there feeling as if they were only interested in money and not their patients. I don't know how their drs are but I wasn't very happy with the snotty dental assistant that tried to convince me that the reason they were so overpriced was because they used the best dental tools and the drs went to the best schools. Came in Sunday for an emergency, infected wisdom tooth. Was told I could take antibiotic but opted not to. 2 days later, it is worse. I need the antibiotics. I called in for them, several times. Was then told I'd have to wait until the doctor was back Sunday, which I knew was BS. Then was told had to see surgeon. Then I finally said "I am not paying another dentist to diagnose me when I was just there, I need the infection gone before the wisdom tooth could be removed." I've been going to the office for quite a while and not until the end of the year did problems start. Unfortunately the office staff lacks knowledge of knowing their jobs. Having no regard for their own mistakes they insist on you dealing with the consequences. Run dont walk from this office. I had to pay 1900.00 in advance for a permanent bridge which was never delivered. I was given a temporary which broke twice. So 1900.00 dollars later I gave no completed dental work.
This guy botched up my mouth, he's the kind of doctor that makes up issues just so you can come back and put more cash in his pocket. Yeah great the place is clean, but not honest. I stray everyone away from this quack.

I have been going to East Islip Dental for a while now and my last experience was quite disturbing g to me. I had a consultation for an implant with their periodontist who comes into the office once a week - he tells me I need an additional procedure before I can get the implant. This procedure was an additional $2000! And, I would have a 6 month healing period before I could get the implant.
