A couple months ago I went to Brinton Lake Dentists and had all of my X-rays updated. The dentist told me I had 7 cavities, all between my teeth and needed fillings. This was very surprising to me, as I take great care of my teeth and am an avid flosser. The dentist knew that my dental insurance did not cover fillings, and the office sent me a treatment plan that would have me pay $2500 for the seven fillings. I had dental surgery done there, we paid full price because we were told our insurance wouldn't cover. Our insurance contacted the dental office and eventually paid it. So, they got paid twice for the one procedure. We are now on the third email and second call to get a refund, no luck. They keep giving us the brush off or simply ignoring us. It appears that they are just going to keep it. At this point we are calling this a form of insurance fraud!

Took my twins for braces at the Dentist at Brinton Lake and it took forever to get the work completed and the braces taken off, even though we were told that it would take less then a year. During each visit the orthodontist would say that they would come off the next time and it took 3 years for my daughter's braces to come off and almost 2 years for my son. If you care about your time management, this dentist office is not for you. This office clearly is ill managed and over booked. I have never waited less than 30 minutes for my appointment to start. Every single visit I've had to go to the front desk and ask the ladies how late my appointments is going to run. Today I was told " you must be a black cloud". I have been a patient here since they opened and have never had any issues until now. I will say the facility is clean and the hygienists are wonderful. I did, however, have an issue that I need to voice. Dr. Vijay Mathura ruined my mouth and has instilled a sense of fear in me. He walked into the room and never introduced himself. I had to ask the receptionist for his name as I was leaving. This man had zero bedside manner and at no point was I treated like a patient. BUYER BEWARE! Got braces for my daughter, @ $3000, ok seems fair enough seems to be going rate. Braces come off, after a year or so of follow ups. Get hit with $7000 Phase 2. Was never told about Phase 2. I was told that was always the plan. I think I should have been in on the plan from the beginning. I would have never agreed to spend $10,000 for braces. Well we aren't doing Phase 2. Done with this place!

I didn't want to do this, but I had such an awful experience with this group on several occasions that I felt obligated to share it. I gave the practice many chances, probably more than deserved. I saw three dentists in the group and had a poor experience with each of them. It was a combination of needing multiple follow ups for bite adjustment, poor recognition for a need for a root canal that I ended up having done fairly urgently, needed multiple root canals in itself following routine fillings and lack of understanding/e... read more

We had been going to this dentist for years - 10 plus - and it has gone downhill since the beginning. The staff changes each visit - the dentists are gone/changing constantly - and you have staff complaining about their job at the front desk. Add to it multiple billing errors that are not being resolved, lack of follow up and now delays for scheduling. What a shame - they used to be a great office. Now I can't recommend them and not even sure why I have waited so long to leave.

Pros: Location of the building Cons: Dr. Maria was my dentist for about three years while I was using the Dentists at Brinton Lake. About two years (I was 18 years old) I returned for my last filling appointment. They scheduled me for 3 different appointments for the amount of fillings that needed to be done.
