Excellent experience at this dental clinic--now owned & run by the private corporation "The Smilist," which clinic is located in the TollBrothers' Shipyard complex in Hoboken, where 12th street runs down to the Hoboken waterfront. Thorough and care was top of mind throughout our visit! Glad to find a practice that takes care to review X-rays and our records and didn't rush through any part of the appointment. Happy to have been recommended to this practice and Shea and Dr. Alex were both great!
I'd like to thank the office for reaching out and getting me scheduled as soon as possible to sort everything out. It seems there was a lack of communication between the contracted answering service and the doctor's staff. I was told the issue had been addressed and a resolution put in place.

Been going here for 10 years and highly recommend! Very talented dentists, knowledgeable and thorough dental hygienists set in a comfortable office with clean, modern equipment. Be prepared to pay for services at checkout. They will submit claim to your insurance. Usually very timely.
Care has always been good and the office and equipment is new and very clean. Problem is that this practice runs every bill up. They do extra procedures you don't request and aren't covered (like oral cancer screening which is a look inside your mouth for $50) They sell sell sell extra aesthetic services and cleanings 3 times per year- and the pressure can be a little annoying. Good care - but play defense on your wallet.
UPDATE: To keep a long story short, I like to live my life by the idea that it's easy to do things right, but it's much harder to fix the things that go wrong. And as you can see by the issues I had with their billing department below, it was a bit of a mess and took several months to correct. But I appreciate Dr. DePaola working with me to correct their mistakes.

Great staff & beautiful office. Very happy with my experience and the doctor. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Dr. Mike made sure that I was comfortable through the whole process. At the end the ladies at the front did everything possible for me to get reimbursed from my insurance. Im def. recommending everyone to come to this office.
Love this Guy! He reattached a front tooth veneer in minutes after 2 different Hoboken dentists' told me it was hopeless!!!
Dr. Frank is professional and a first-rate dentist. His assiting staff is also very good. The office is lovely and the reception staff are nice too. From cleanings to crowns to giant fillings, this dental-phobic patient is always put at ease by doctor and staff. Dr. Frank strives to make sure the experience is a positive one.
