So my daughter used to see Dr. Macaully at Pennsbury Dental on Bucktown Road. I guess this place purchased that office and merged it with a new location not far at all. Dr. Macaully retired. I loved his practice, as it was small and intimate. I was not even notified of this merger/purchase via phone, email, etc. - wonder how legal it is considering HIPAA laws and the transfer of medical records as I usually disclaim and cross out many things on medical waivers I sign before enrolling into a practice (may have to check in... read more

Both the hygienist and dentist were more interested in trying to sell me products and services for issues I don't have, than actually performing my routine exam. Practically before the hygienist even looked in my mouth, she was telling me a needed a mouth guard for grinding my teeth, an issue I've never had. The dentist, Dr. Bunin, barely checked my teeth after my cleaning and immediately telling me I have sleep apnea and referring me for a sleep study. Michele Gladstone is the absolute worst dentist I have ever encountered....and I've seen many dentists. She foolishly kept attempting to work on a failed root canal.....the tooth was ultimately extracted by a different dentist. She was rude and impatient with me and her wonderful assistant. Michele Gladstone treated me like I was a piece of meat in the chair. I was hesitant to allow her to use a "Dental Dam"....but she insisted it made it easier for her. The dental office has one thought in mind, how to make the most money they can despite whether or not the client has a problem. They are constantly trying to sell something and when you don't buy anything they find a shadow on your x-ray that shows a crack in your tooth and you need a crown/cap. Before and after I went to this practice I had no problems with my teeth. While I went there for years (until I finally got smart enough to leave), they found 5 cavities and two cracked teeth which of course needed caps. I was so sho... read more
